Banjul International Airport (BIA) is located 12 miles from the capital city of Banjul and is the only airport in The Gambia.  There are no domestic flights in The Gambia.

There is a duty free shop that caters for variety of needs.

A comprehensive range of facilities for disable passengers are available at BIA.  It is important that passengers make known their disabilities and requirements at the time of booking to ensure maximum attention.

Banking Service is provided for all arriving passengers into BIA.  There are no restrictions on currency movement. The bank is located immediately after passport control.

Airport tax is levied on all travellers regardless of country of origin. Gambian passport holders pay in local currency, whilst foreign passport holders pay in hard currency.  Charter flights bringing tourist are exempted since this is factored in the package.Porters are available on request at prices negotiable between the service provider and the passenger.

Car rental service self-drive or taxi hire is provided on request.Restaurant/Bar services available before and after security checks

Parking lots are available at a minimal cost for seeing off or receiving guests and maximum security is provided by Airport authorities.
